SLC Subscriptions
The Suburban Library Cooperative provides subscriptions to the following
digital resources for all SLC member library patrons. These
subscriptions are recommended by the Advisory Council each spring for
the following year, based on the availability of funds in the SLC budget.
Ancestry Library Edition
Ancestry Library Edition is available in the U.S., the UK, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Denmark, Ireland and Norway, and provides access to billions of historical documents, millions of historical photos, plus local narratives, oral histories, indexes and other resources in over 30,000 databases that span from the 1500s to the 2000s.

The Tutor.com Learning Suite, a service of The Princeton Review, combines on-demand, real-time tutoring with several self-study tools to create robust, personalized learning or job search experience. The live, online tutoring and job search support is available every day of the week from 12 p.m. – 12 a.m. Many other features such as The Princeton Review’s SAT/ACT Essentials Test Prep is available 24/7. The service was purchased by all public libraries in Macomb County, Troy, and Harper Woods and is available at no cost to the student.
